Heritage HealthCare Center is committed to providing cutting-edge medicine and advocacy to our patients and provides a full-scale of state-of-the-art HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis care and support.
The Heritage HealthCare Center for HIV/AIDS & Hepatitis C Services provides multidisciplinary comprehensive and state-of-the-art HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C care, support, prevention and sexual health. Patients have a choice of board certified providers and a range of services that are available under one roof.
Rapid HIV testing by appointment, provider visit(s) or during walk in hours.
Pre-Post HIV/AIDS Counseling, patients will receive one on one patient education and support to answer any questions about medical treatment and needed services like insurance coverage (ADAP), government benefits and preventative care.
Primary medical care consists of comprehensive, quality medical care with experienced HIV specialist providers.
Mental Health: Individual counseling, psychotherapy and annual psychosocial assessments with knowledgeable and sensitive licensed clinical social workers.
Medication adherence counseling provides support and education about HIV infection, prescribed medications, and side effects.
Care Coordination offers information, assistance and referrals regarding benefits and entitlements, including insurance, housing, and referrals to other supportive services.
Sexual Health Counseling helps identify risks for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections and create an individualized risk reduction plan both to promote your health and minimize possible harm regardless of current HIV status. Sexual health is a human right.

The Heritage HealthCare Center for HIV/AIDS & Hepatitis C Services physicians are well versed in the care of patients with HIV and/or viral hepatitis. Dr. Milano and Dr. Wildfeuer each have thirty (30) years of experience, and Dr. Williams has seven (7) years of experience in HIV and Hepatitis B&C.
Patients at The Heritage HealthCare Center for HIV/AIDS & Hepatitis C Services receive the full range of care, including personalized medical therapy with the latest medications and monitoring to ensure their well-being and continued care.
You do not have to be a patient at The Heritage HealthCare Center for HIV/AIDS & Hepatitis C Services to get PrEP. All patients are encouraged to walk in for HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C consultation services Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 4 pm. We look forward to providing you care in a welcoming environment.
Dr. Danielle Milano, MD, Chief of Medical Affairs
Danielle Milano, M.D., joined Heritage as our new Chief of Medical Affairs in February of 2020. She brings with her thirty years of experience as an Internist and HIV specialist and is responsible for program development and instituting new quality programs at Heritage for HIV, diabetes and hypertension.
A long-time New York resident, Dr. Milano graduated from New York University School of Medicine, completed her internship at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio and her residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. Dr. Danielle Milano has been board certified in Internal Medicine since 1990, and is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Olga Wildfeuer
Dr. Olga Wildfeuer joined our organization on April 4, 2020 and is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and HIV Medicine.
Dr. Olga Wildfeuer who has trained and worked as a Nursing Assistant, Registered Nurse, and now as a Medical Doctor is permitted by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) to prescribe Suboxone for persons who are affected by opioid addiction.
Dr. Olga Wildfeuer life’s work can be characterized by the way she cares for the needs of others, within the parameters and scope of the different communities and societies she has lived and whom we serve.
Dr. Kerah Williams M.D.
Dr. Kerah Williams is a Family Practitioner at Heritage HealthCare Center in Central Harlem. Dr. Williams obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University and Medical degree from Ross University. Dr. Williams completed her residency training at Harlem hospital, SUNY Downstate University and Kings County Hospitals.
Dr. Williams’s medical research at both Columbia Presbyterian and Harlem Hospital culminated in a publication on Bladder Cancer in the Journal of American Medical Association. Additionally, Dr. Williams conducted HIV research at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. Prior to her medical career, Dr. Williams worked as mental health counselor, high school teacher and real estate title closer. Currently, Dr. Williams’s professional goal lies in providing HealthCare for the community in Central Harlem.
Doctor Lincoln Hernandez
Doctor Lincoln Hernandez is a gastroenterology specialist practicing in New York City since 2012. Dr. Hernandez completed his internal medicine residency at NYU Downtown Hospital with top honors earning the Program Director’s Award and the John T. Flynn Young Investigator Award.
This was followed by fellowship in Clinical Nutrition at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. During this time, Dr. Hernandez served as Instructor in Clinical Medicine and subsequently became a research fellow at Columbia University's Celiac Disease Center successfully publishing his work in Celiac Disease and other peer review journals.
Dr. Hernandez completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Tulane University's School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Hernandez was then appointed as Gastroenterologist for Ochsner Clinic, Baton Rouge. Here Dr. Hernandez excelled as a young specialist and contributed to the expansion of gastroenterology clinics and performing complex therapeutic endoscopy. In early 2012 he returned to New York City where he currently practices.
Dr. Hernandez’s focus includes Inflammatory Bowel Disease including Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis, Chronic Liver Diseases such as Fatty Liver, Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B and Gastric Reflux Disease and Colon Cancer Prevention. Dr. Hernandez holds a faculty position of Assistant Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine of the Mount Sinai Hospital where he teaches new fellows’ endoscopy and precepts their community clinics.
Dr. Hernandez has dedicated much of his career to the delivery of specialized medicine to the Central Harlem community and most recently is coordinating efforts in the new Heritage HealthCare Center for Crohn’s Colitis and Liver Disease focusing on chronic Gastrointestinal and liver disease care.
Dr. Marlene Taylor
Marlene Taylor PA-C is a Primary Care Provider practicing medicine for over 30 years, specializing in the field of HIV and Hepatitis. In November of 2021, she accepted a position as Director of HIV at Heritage Healthcare Center. Formerly she was the Assistant Director of HIV and Addiction HIV as well as a Family Medicine Provider at Ryan Chelsea Clinton Clinic. Prior to Ryan, she was appointed to the staff of the ID Clinic at Montefiore Medical Center where she treated over 300 patients who had followed her for over 20 years.
When she joined the Heritage Healthcare family in 2021, where she immediately continued her passion to address treating patients whom have been historically marginalized, following her mission to work in underserved in communities of color.. She has worked tirelessly to provide high-quality care to medically underserved patients living with HIV/AIDS as well as a primary care provider for those with other chronic health conditions. Ms. Taylor brings exceptional clinical experience, and dedication to her work that is apparent not only to Heritage Healthcare staff, but also to its patients, who continually recognize her for the quality care she provides and the compassion she extends to all patients. She is consistently commended for the way she listens to patients, and the time that she takes with them during visits. Her patient experience scores consistently rank her in the highest 1% nationally.
She is the President of the board of COPE an HIV/Hepatitis C organization -The Coalition for Positive Empowerment in Harlem. She is the Co-founder of The Taylor/Moses Institute for Health professions launched in 2015, geared to preparing students interested in pursuing careers in health care and addressing health disparities in communities of color.
Ms. Taylor has been quoted in articles regarding health disparities in the African American Community and has been a frequent guest on the Healthy Living segment of WWRL, and was featured as the HIV expert on the World AIDS Day 2012 segment of ABC’s “‘Here and Now” dedicated to covering the latest issues, news stories and trends that are impacting the local black community.
Dr. Ari Benjamin, MD, Internal Medicine
Dr. Ari Benjamin is an Internal Medicine Physician at Heritage HealthCare Center in Central Harlem. Dr. Benjamin obtained a Bachelor’s degree from The City College of New York and a Medical degree from Ross University. Dr. Benjamin is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is trained to diagnose and treat an extensive variety of diseases and illnesses in adults.
Dr. Benjamin was born into a family of hard workers and a family that was always engaged in helping others and giving back to their community to improve the lives of others. Dr. Benjamin inherited that spirit of community and was eager to go to medical school to fulfill his life’s dream. That dream included being able to make a positive difference by serving the community Central Harlem.
